The Denver Broncos continue to be stricken with injuries. Today it was CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie who was carted off the field.
It was near the end of the practice when the six-year vet out of Tennessee State went down down. The Denver Broncos would dodge a bullet this time. Rodgers-Cromartie is reported to just have a high ankle sprain.
Unfortunately for the Broncos, this isn't their first time this offseason with players going down. The trainers and doctors have been quite busy in the short time. The Denver Broncos just found out last week that hopeful starting center Dan Koppen tore his ACL and is done for the season. Koppen was a free agent signing after the Broncos found out then expected starting center J.D. Walton would require more surgery and would be out till late November, if not longer.
Although it is very good news that injury wasn't as serious, but the Broncos are much deeper at defensive back than most teams. For that reason, they might be wise to not rush Rodgers-Cromartie back.
