Expected Denver Broncos starting middle linebacker Stewart Bradley is going to be out several weeks. Originally, it was believed that Bradley wouldn't miss much time. However, it would be determined today that Bradley would require wrist surgery. Bradley injured himself on Saturday night, where the Broncos would lose five potential starters against the Seahawks.
Replacing Bradley is going to take some extra patch work for the Broncos as other starting linebacker Von Miller is expected to be suspended as little as 4 games and could be as must as the whole season, although it is believed Miller will miss 6-8 games.
The plan is going to be that starting weakside linebacker Wesley Woodyard will be moved to middle linebacker in place of Bradley. Woodyard has played in the middle in the past, so it shouldn't be too big of a stretch for him to do an adequate job again. If Miller is suspended, backup middle linebacker Nate Irving will be his replacement.
