The Denver Nuggets haven't been in the news since their free agent signings a month ago, but that would change Monday night.
Channel 7's Alan Gathright is reporting that Ty Lawson was arrested by Arapahoe County deputies on investigation of domestic violence-related harassment that includes either striking, shoving or kicking as well as a property damage charge, court records state. Both of these charges are considered misdemeanors in Colorado.
Lawson was released on bail for $1,000 at the Arapahoe County. The judge would also order a mandatory protection order for the alleged victim. For an indefinite amount of time, Lawson will not be able to contact her.
in a time where many Denver fans were yearning for some good sports news due to the ongoing Von Miller debacle, this certainly is not that.
